We define balanced training as the use of fair consequences for every action by utilizing both rewards and corrections. Just like humans, dogs learn best from positive and negative feedback, so, as owners, it is our job to give them the proper guidance for them to learn effectively.

Our Mission

Whether you’re here for pet or service dog training, our mission is to help you meet your personal goals, improve your bond, and make the household as peaceful and cohesive as possible. We want you and your dog to have a fulfilling relationship full of fun, trust, and respect.

This includes incorporating boundaries and management into your dog’s daily life. We believe they thrive on proper structure through the understanding of what is expected of them. Corrections and rewards work together to quickly teach, remind, and encourage desired behavior. Dogs crave leadership and guidance from us so they can form a trusting relationship and live a happy, safe, fulfilling life.

Our methods

TRAINING GRAPH.png

We believe in utilizing the four quadrants of both dog and human psychology for the most effective and clear learning methods. It’s proven that using all four of these methods together make for the most efficient learning. We do this by utilizing boundaries, rewards such as treats, clickers, praise, and toys, and corrections delivered verbally or via a prong collar, e-collar, leash pressure, etc. These tools do not hurt, scare, or abuse; they merely add another layer to the understanding and communication between you and your dog.

Above all, we are committed to learning what methods, tools, and combination of each work best for you and YOUR individual dog to teach and effectively build your relationship.

We believe trust is at the core of a good relationship with your dog. We want to help teach you how to best communicate with and advocate for your dog to build that trust, bond, and mutual respect. By incorporating training, structure, and proper structure, you will make your way to a more fulfilled, cohesive and understanding relationship with your furry family member.
